Here's how it works


Step 1: 

Once you purchase this service, a new course thumbnail will appear on your dashboard. Click into the course and go to the lesson inside. You'll find the instructions there.

Step 2: 

Read the instructions, answer a few questions about what you need help with, and submit a link to your PowerPoint file via Dropbox or Google Drive. 

Did you create your presentation using another app (Google Drive, Keynote, etc?). No problem, just submit a PDF of the slide deck. 

Step 3: 

Within 10 business days, you'll receive a link to download the Zoom recording! 

That's it! Easy peasy. 

This service is NOT a good fit if you need...

  • URGENT help (videos have a 10 business-day turnaround time!). My 1:1 calls can be booked sooner than this and are better suited for emergencies.

  • Help with the content (storyboarding, storytelling, framing, etc). We need to do a 1:1 call with that, and be able to have a conversation so I can help pull out the story and help you with the framing.

  • Deep dives on the design. This service is meant for quick looks and fast feedback on the direction you're heading with your slides. My 1:1 calls are for deep dives, where we work on your slides together.

  • HIGH STAKES presentations (job talks, keynotes, etc). Those are too important for just a short video. Please book the 1:1 service instead, and only book this service if you'd like a short follow-up feedback video about how well you implemented what we talked about in that session..

FAQs

  • Who does the feedback for this service?

    Our team (Echo Rivera and Jason Rivera) works collaboratively on reviewing, assessing, evaluating, and deciding on what feedback to provide. Then, one team member (Echo or Jason) will record the video that you will receive. Therefore, please note that the video may not be recorded by Echo Rivera. This is one way we can keep this service as affordable as possible.

  • What is the feedback timeline?

    Please allow 10 business days for feedback. Business days are Monday-Friday US Central Time. The first day starts on the next business day after you purchased this service. For example, if you purchased this service on a Friday, the first “business day” is the following Monday.

  • How long will the feedback video be?

    Approximately 20 minutes, give or take 5 minutes.

  • Will I be able to ask questions after I get the video?

    If the feedback I provided is unclear or confusing, you may email us for clarification only. If, however, the feedback made you think of a new question, then answering that question is not included. If you think you'd like a chance to ask questions and continue doing deeper dives on my feedback, then a 1:1 session will be a better fit.

  • Will you review my revisions to see if I implemented your feedback correctly?

    This is not included in the service. However, you are welcome to book as many video feedback services as you need.

  • I don't have 10 business days to wait, my important presentation is sooner than that!

    My 1:1 calls are better for emergencies, check out the link at the bottom of the page to learn more about that option.

  • What is the refund policy?

    There are no refunds for this service.

  • How far in advance can I purchase this service?

    Please only purchase this service if you are ready to submit your slides for feedback right away. The "course" will expire in 90 days after you enroll, and there will be NO REFUNDS issued if you don't submit your slides for feedback before that expiration date.

  • What happens if I don't submit my slides for feedback before the expiration date?

    The course/service will expire in 90 days (at midnight UTC) after you enroll. There will be NO REFUNDS issued if you don't submit your slides for feedback before that expiration date. NO CREDIT will be provided for a future purchase. Please only purchase this service if you already have your slides ready to submit and plan on doing so within the next few days.
